My placement took place in Nanjing Broadcast System (NBS), which is an Nanjing local news agency. The Chinese workplace culture is somehow different from the UK work culture. Chinese people seldom use email to communicate so I first applied for this placement via WeChat. In addition, NBS only requires a personal CV which I also sent through by WeChat and NBS does not require a letter of application. So I do not have the screenshot of these emails.
